- I think folks hate on DailyFX because it's owned by FXCM. However, their DailyFX site is very good (but not FXCM as a broker, no way!). DailyFX lost a ton of followers when "Boris and Kathy" left, lol... Personally, I think the sites analysis and commentary improved a bit. Most don't know this (I have a friend that works @ FXCM), but the analysis and commentary is largely provided by grad students via internships. They provide solid "unbias" analysis. That's why I like the site...
A lot of other sites have "personalities" that are too worried about their image. Their analysis and commentary tend to be "I like this pair long, unless it goes short" or "if things stay this way, go short, but it they change go long", lol... (i.e. no opinion, just chatter)
Botton Line: just ignore the FXCM ads and enjoy the site
