I love using xtick. Not only is it easy to use, it makes the charts appealing to look at, unlike other software that are just play ugly and difficult to use. Also, the xpaint feature is pretty useful in backtesting as it helps pinpoint triggered signals.

I love the simplicity of it and the ease of use. It also allows for the creation of tabs or pages in which one can have different setups for trades or different currencies. This feature makes it really easy to monitor different currencies at different timeframes. Overall a great charting software with many benefits.

Quote:: Xtick has a good backtesting feature. Unlike other charting programs like that of Oanda and Amibroker, Xtick does not 'compress' the charts when you go back in time. It allows traders to move back in any time frame. Having such features enables traders to test their technical systems on previous price movements more accurately. The only downside here is that Xtick's backtest feature is not automated. Meaning, you have to manually scroll back to be able to reach a particular period.

Quote:: Very good charting software. One nice thing about it is that it is visually appealing. Everything is neatly presented and easy to use. There are many tools at one's disposal. Also, lines and tools used stay on even after you close it, so you dont have to keep making new trendlines, Fibonacci levels, etc.

Quote:: I use Xtick primarily to make pictures of charts for training purposes. It has all the basic functions a trader needs and can definitely be used as a primary charting program for trading. I recommend to give it a try. The Xpaint feature is pretty sweet.
