Oanda's platform is java based and you can't add your own indicators to it. So you'll probably find out that the indicators that come with the platform aren't enough for a good technical analysis and creating your own systems and experts. You'll need another platform where you can read your charts. Another bad thing about Oanda are the widening spreads when news are about to be announced. Good think is that it coveres the market data 24/7, so you'll get the so called "Sunday data" (New Zealand etc.) too. Haven't experienced any other problems with Oanda so far.
