He is honest in his assessments and does not pull any punches in his analysis and owes up to both the good and the bad trades. Jimmy gives you full value for your investment and more.

If there is one message that is really clear is that Jimmy wants to make you a trader and NOT a sycophant to the latest trend in computer program trading, i.e. he wants you to think. Trading is hard work and needs a lot of practise. Follow his advice and you will be on your way to becoming a successful trader.

Met Jimmy 5 years ago now but never use much of what i learn with him until a couple of years ago and all though i was profitable through hard work Jimmy has taken me to an other level, allowing me on my days off to be a day trader rather the a longer term one. Picked up close to a 1000 pips this week. I now incorporate Jimmy short term market views with my long one and it's making a killing. Seriously considering taking it up full time.
Would definitely recommend the course.

I have watched uncounted hours of vidio's, attended so many hours of live training that I think of Jimmy as family.
I also have made so many bad trades that I was sure that my platform was picking on me personally. After months of believing I knew how to do it better, or had a better idea, had a shortcut, i finally started to follow the plan, I started to make informed trades, pay attention to my risk control, and trade my plan.
I have had my first week of satisfying and positive returns. I will continue to watch uncounted hours of vidios, attend hours of live training because there has never been one time that I didn't learned something new.
I will continue to trade and I am sure that it will be successful thanks to Jimmy.

One more thing: You need to have a strong desire to win and you will make it!

Quote:: For a start I was completely sceptical whether the course (c£1,700 in 2012) could possibly be worth it even after being on Jimmy's 2-day introductory course. While a reasonably experienced stock trader I'd never really traded forex - except to lose money.
What appealed about Jimmy was that he really is the real deal - an ex-bank trader rather than a systems guy with a slick presentation and a heavy marketing team behind him. (That said what initially put me off Jimmy at the start is that his UK marketing seems to be outsourced to the outfit that pushes a certain Mr Winters.)
Whereas Winters appears to be just a slick act, Jimmy is anything but - a down-to-earth, hard-nosed trader with bags of market experience and knowledge. Over the 10 months I've been on his course I've learnt an awful lot of stuff about market behaviour that I couldn't have learnt from books.
His approach is purely to day-trading forex in the major pairs using several techniques that he's honed over the years. They are a mix of technical and fundamentals and are taught via online webinars with video followups. Before the start of every trading day he issues a market view and a review of the previous day that reinforces the education in his techniques and tools. This is packed with useful information. Approximately four times a month there is a live trading webinar with a video recording to follow. Using Jimmy's tools and techniques requires application and common sense - they are not an automated trading system. It also helps if you are an early riser because some of the best moves in the market can happen early on.
Would I recommend Jimmy's course? Wholeheartedly yes, but be prepared to work, be prepared to learn and be prepared to be disciplined. This is no silver bullet system (it doesn't exist) but an excellent year-long education in the forex market. What I've learned and will go on learning under Jimmy's tutelage has been invaluable. Overall my trading account is up - and would be up more if I had stuck more with Jimmmy's approach rather than my own undisciplined, impatient forays into other methods.

The ethos he uses is to try to teach students to become traders in their own right rather than followers of systems which inevitibly go out of date. This makes common sense and clearly is the way it should be done.

I'm looking forward and am confident in becoming a trader in my own right with the learning I will gain from him.

I cannot understand the small number of 1 star raters as the only criticisms they come up with is that Jimmy teaches outdated systems. This couldn't be further from the truth as he constantly reminds his students that you have to adapt and change with the market, not relying on any system to always work.
The other criticism was saying Jimmy has too many students now to provide as much individual help as he used to. This you would expect but is again from my experience innacurate as Jimmy is prompt at answering questions and seeing to individual student needs. I know this not just from my own experience but also from other traders I know on the course.

One thing worth mentioning is that only a small % of students on trading courses successfully and consistently make a living from trading. I believe this is because people in general tend not to follow through with consistency with what they learn even if what they learn is high quality stuff.
In my opinion the 1 star raters probably fall into this category but hey, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but mine is that this training program is the genuine article.

Quote:: I attended a weekend course through UK Forex Masters ran by Jimmy Young. I would suggest anyone wanting to learn to trade should attend this course and learn to trade through Jimmy. There are various follow on courses you can take and lots of information and ongoing support given. He has been trading for 30 years so knows what he's talking about and does not force a sales pitch on you. Prior to attending this course I had no knowledge whatsoever of trading, Jimmy teaches realistically, he lets you know there is no short cut in learning to trade and you won't become a millionaire overnight. I feel very honoured to have received the phenomenal teaching I and recommend that you check out Jimmy's courses if you are at any stage of the trading game. Happy trading.
