Good book for beginners and advanced traders. I am not sure how much the Author trades, however he has good idea of how Wall Street traders work.

The author has captured all the psychological mind bending factors about trading. Not only that, he offers good advice on how to overcome them with exercises that all new traders should endeavour to follow. It is easy to avoid responsibility for your own trading, switching from one strategy to the next, never really achieving consistency. The authors exercises can overcome this as long as you maintain discipline and stick to your plan.
Moreover, his insight into what the trader may feel emotionally is captured very well with sound reasoning used to overcome them.
Into my second read and have the "Five truths" printed onto my trading plan for daily reference.
This book is not just a read once and forget, you need to read a few times to reinforce the concepts, this is easy due to the authors easy writing style

Any trader who has lost, which is virtually everyone, can easily relate to this book. Emotions play a huge part in trading. Every trader knows what I mean. While winning boosts our confidence, losing big time puts us in a downward spiral even with a good trading system in place. Losing makes those rules, if you have one, a bit murky. Reading this book will remind you of those bad habits that you should not do and the things that you should put in place. If you refrain from doing those bad habits and if you institute a system that you will follow as much as possible, it will allow you to trade more consistently. I saw myself when I was reading this book.

This book helped me to see how to be consistently profitable with a random outcome. Once I realized that with Mark's explanations, my trading mentality changed literally overnight.

I highly recommend this book if you are a system trader. A bit expensive in my opinion but nonetheless a good read.

This book is the perfect pick-me-up after a series of losing trades. Even as it tackles trading psychology, it refrains from approaching the subject matter with a self-help tone, effectively eliminating that defeatist attitude that usually plagues traders who are down with their accounts. Every trader can relate to the situations that the author narrates in the book. The author also makes use of several metaphors in order to illustrate the correct mindset for each scenario.
