I highly recommend this book. I absolutely agree with Mr. Archer when he puts emphasis and much importance on money management. How can traders trade if they have no money because they keep on losing it? Beginner traders should learn the art of self-discipline as one of the components in their trading strategies. Otherwise, they’ll be out sooner than they expected.

This book is not recommended for beginner traders. Not only are the discussions not presented in simple and point-to-point manner, the topics are also not arranged properly which might lead to readers ending up more confused than before they started reading the book. If you don’t want to get your mind muddled, don’t read this book.

With the help of this book, almost anybody can easily understand how important trading strategies are and most importantly, how to begin creating your own. Mr. Archer has even shared his Goodman Swing trading system to show the readers how to develop a trading strategy that is both customized and personalized. 5-stars for this book!

The author describes the ‘big picture’ of forex trading in this book. To be successful in anything, an individual must first create or find a framework that will work perfectly for his personality, environment, etc and then be able to put that framework into perspective. Having a clear goal, the right attitude, and knowledge are usually not enough. In life and especially in forex trading, strategies must also be developed and applied. This book gives readers the lowdown on exactly how that can be done. Traders MUST have this book as one of their references.

I like the way Mr. Archer introduces the topics in his book. The introduction alone has aroused my interest to continue reading. I’m really impressed because he had discussed almost all the important details even at the very beginning. As for the ‘real’ content, I found the actual input of ideas very organized so they are all easy to understand. I’ve also noticed that he provided lots of charts and illustrations. Readers will surely enjoy reading about forex trading because pictures always add more ‘visual’ information to any discussion. Although the author is not a big fan of technical indicators, I find the book to be somewhat on the technical side but a little heavy on the psychological teachings. I give this book the highest rate – 5-stars!

Well, from an experienced trader’s point of view, this book is a good read for beginners. It gives tips on how NOT to lose money by knowing the dos and don’ts. Basically, in order to survive in the Forex market, one should know the importance of money management as well as the risks and the emotional stress involved. This book also does not provide the so-called ‘Holy Grail’ system of trading simply because yes – there is no such thing. It’s not even a system or a machine! But I’m pretty sure you can still find the ‘Holy Grail’ because it is within you.
