Quote:: There is no one news event where they freeze and I mean the don't let you make an entry ever! When you contact them they always try to tell you that there was no problem and they come back "oh yes we chcked the problem and we had a sever overload" BS constantly never failes to fail! STAY OUT! The Star above is a minus star.

Quote:: FXDD occasionally offers great sign-on bonuses, which is why I joined them. When I signed up, my application took 2 full weeks for processing. Their used-to-be low, fixed spreads are no longer fixed and interestingly increase during prime trading hours. Their customer service is rude and unprofessional â€“ just try calling them and see for yourself. Last but not least, the MT4 platform connection is interestingly lost during times of big trading opportunities (big scheduled announcements, etc.) â€“ This forces traders stuck in trades to wait for the connection to be restored or traders looking to bank on a good opportunity to miss the price spike.

Quote:: I have both demo and live accounts with FXDD and I have no complaints. Fast deposit and withdrawals. They do have slippage during news events, but I don't trade news so I have no problem with it. As for the spreads, they only offer 2 pip spread on EUR/USD all other pairs are 3 pips or higher. Customer service is top notch.

When I opened an account with them about 2 years ago, I was extremely put off by the lack of concern in the customer service department. At one point, it took them 48 hours to post an online deposit through paypal . After several phone calls and no response I asked my IB to intervene. Whenever I called the brokers desk, the voice on the other end was gruff. anonymous and unhelpful. I was just about ready to end my association with these guys when the platform crashed about 6 months ago. I called them expecting to hear the same ineffectual script, but to my surprise was transferred to the tech desk. The guy I spoke to was articulate, concerned and most importantly helpful. The attitude seems to have changed at FXDD.
I get less slipage than some of the other brokers I use, but the stop losses seem to get taken out a little quicker...it makes you wonder.
