Ive been trading with FXCM for over a year now, and I'm weary pleased with them.

The provided charting package (Markedscope) is more than adequate for the average trader, but I found its less suitable for longer term planning and multiple cross trading (hence not full score from me).

I would warmly recommend FXCM!

Good and Bad Points of FXCM

I like FXCM because they provide traders with good software for practice and also micro account with low spreads.

They also provide education via webina. The education provides on their website is also valuable although a little complicated.

What I didn't like about FXCM is their account software. I have a micro account with them, and their time frame are for monthly, weekly, daily, 60 mins, 30 mins, 15 mins, 5 mins, 1 mins and then tick.

Some of us like to have other time slots such as 8 hours and 4 hours chart. I like the Cowabunga System and as a day trader, would like a chart that contains 4 and 8 hours.

Second problem FXCM contains in the micro system is the printing. It just runs off the page no matter what I do. It is not very user friendly when it comes to the printing aspect of it.

Other than that, I like FXCM well.
